Our Story

Thousands of years of Cuban flavor — one truck at a time

Hey there, my name is Steven and I'm the owner of La Cocina Cubana. My parents came to this country in 1969 with their parents, escaping Cuba. Both sides of my family started businesses serving the local community of Bridgeport and Hartford.

Now here I am with my very own food truck. My whole life has built to this moment, and I'm so proud to share our family's Cuban flavor with the Hartford community — made fresh, made by hand, made with love.
